CYC北區中國象棋比賽在11月30日(六)舉行。
本校1L 何啟釗、3S利浩霆、4D呂俊燁及6N潘志良分別代表初中組及高中組出賽。他們是首次參與這次比賽，賽果如下：

The school-based artificial intelligence creation competition organized by Alibaba and Alibaba Cloud has successfully concluded. The participation in the secondary school group required students to use Alibaba Cloud's artificial intelligence platform - Tongyi Qianwen and Tongyi Wanxiang, to create a 5,000-word interactive technology-themed novel.
Our school's Computer department sent two teams of students to participate, with the team of Form 2 students from our school winning the championship with "The Key of Time." This is a science fiction story set in the year 2149, narrating the adventures of the main characters Lin Yu and Zhou Hao in parallel timelines, as well as uncovering the conspiracy of the "Shadow Organization." The story offers different endings based on the reader's choices, greatly enhancing interactivity and readability.
Since registering in early October, the team began discussions and planning in the MakerSpace. Under the guidance of teachers, students learned to use generative artificial intelligence tools to create story content and illustrations. Particularly, the team chose to create illustrations in a “pixel art style”, which not only complemented the sci-fi elements of the story but also perfectly depicted the scenes of the virtual world and parallel timelines. The students made good use of the spellbook function of the Tongyi platform and, after repeated attempts, successfully generated the desired visual effects.
After receiving the awards, the students were interviewed by the South China Morning Post and Alibaba Cloud's social media department.
The winning team will receive a certificate, trophy, gifts sponsored by SteelSeries, and a valuable opportunity for an exchange trip to Hangzhou.

本校中六同學陳韻欣、陳韻翊、莫志豪及陳瑞清於10月20日(星期日)代表學校參加由香港中華基督教青年會舉辦的YM Volunteer頒章禮2023-2024，並獲頒發「積極參與學校獎」。
是次頒章禮的主題為「用心『聆』 併『義』彩」，大會邀請到民政及青年事務局副局長梁宏正先生到場致勉辭及頒獎。本校為全港48所義工服務時數不少於100小時的要求而獲嘉許中學之一。當日同學更汲取了義工們在籌劃活動的寶貴經驗和心得，為日後籌備活動作更好的準備。
