The school has had another victory with a win at the 69Th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. A group of 18 students from Forms Four and Six competed in this year’s Thematic Group Speaking undertaking a very difficult piece called Dystopia. It was a challenge for the students as the language of the poems, songs and extracts used for the theme was quite complex. Nonetheless, the students worked hard and earned a win.
The Form Fours who were a prize-winning team in last year’s puppetry competition (Hands on Stage) moved out from behind the puppetry tent to perform on stage in front of an audience for the first time. They were great. The Form Sixes, who took a supporting role as the chorus in this production, have now taken part in three prize-winning performances in this category. Congratulations to all students involved.
