DONATION APPEAL FOR SCHOOL FACILITY UPGRADE
Following the Education Bureau’s approval of the gradual expansion in school size from 18 to 24 classes - with effect from School Year 2018/19 - our School has decided to embark on the following capital projects in order to satisfy the increasing teaching and learning needs of our students:
(1) reconstruction of designated rooms to Home and Split-class Rooms;
(2) reconstruction of the existing Staffroom and nearby rooms to accommodate the increased number of teaching and support staff;
(3) reconstruction of the existing School Library together with an integrated English Corner;
(4) conversion of the existing Multi-media Learning Centre to “MakerSpace” as a student STEM learning centre;
(5) improvement of Covered Playground facilities for more diversified student activities;
(6) provision for a small lecture theatre, and,
(7) provision for school-based programmes to broaden student learning experience.
Our School is now appealing for financial support from alumni and keen stakeholders for approximately HK$5 million. Your support is crucial to the successful completion of the above projects. The School Supervisor, Mr Wong Mo Ting (Class of 1972), has pledged HK$1 million to name Block B of the School as the “Brother Pius Wing”. Our School prays that another HK$4 million can be raised from all of you.
