We were very fortunate to have twelve students attend the Musical, Quiet, presented by Harrow International Foundation in Shenzhen Qianhai. The high-quality musical performance not only sparked the students’ enthusiasm for music but also provided invaluable English learning experiences.
Overall, it was an amazing event for students to explore their newfound interest in musical theatre and improve their language skills in an engaging and meaningful way.
Below are some reflections from students:

Watching the musical at Harrow Hong Kong Children College was a great experience, which broadened my horizons. The students acted very well and spoke English clearly. What’s more, I was totally shocked by their extraordinary singing abilities at such a young age. Significantly, I was surprised by how confident they were on stage (It was worth it for me to learn). The lights and the set were also nice to look at. As a fan of music, this drama really hit the spot for me as it was performed with live accompaniment. I could enjoy the music and wondrous play at the same time. To wrap up, this event taught me a lesson that I still need a lot of practice in vocabulary and pronunciation in order to become as great as them.

Last night, I experienced a wonderful student concert at HARROW HONG KONG CHILDREN SCHOOL. The performance used a clear story to connect all the acts. The student actors were very expressive, making the plot both easy to follow and exciting.
The true highlight was the live music. The student orchestra's performance was absolutely beautiful. The music perfectly matched every scene, from quiet moments to big climaxes, making the whole show much more powerful and emotional.
It was truly an amazing and professional performance that was deeply moving.

Yesterday, I watched a school musical called Quiet at Harrow Hong Kong Children School. It tells a story about a quiet girl who finds her voice through music in a high-pressure school.
I was touched by her courage to express herself. The songs were beautiful and the acting was excellent. The stage and lights made the show more captivating.
This musical tells us that being quiet does not mean being weak. Everyone has the right to speak out and show their true feelings. It also shows the importance of courage and friendship.
In short, Quiet is a wonderful and meaningful show. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot from it.
